For all you Pride & Prejudice lovers, Maureen Dowd has a great piece in the paper today comparing this year's election to the famed book.
Obama as Mr. Darcy? I like the connection to the literary world but I really do not understand the notion of Obama being elitist. He carries himself in a professional manner that may seem haughty -- but I'd rather have someone in charge that I look up to and not down to (aka Bush). I mean, the man plays pick-up basketball constantly and watches ESPN on election days, how normal can you get??
